Osekai ("the service") is operated by UNTONE ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal data when you use Osekai.

We collect only the data needed to operate and improve the platform. This includes:

From osu! (login provider):

• User ID
• Username
• Bio and other publicly exposed osu! profile data

When using Osekai:

• Gameplay and progression data associated with your osu! account (e.g. medals, rankings, badges)
• Profile data (e.g. timeline entries, goals)
• Content you submit, such as comments and beatmap suggestions
• Other data generated through your use of the platform's features

2. How Your Data is Used

We use your data to:

• Display your osu! stats, medals, rankings, and badges
• Power features like profile timelines, goals, and medal history
• Allow social interaction between users (comments, suggestions)
• Handle account login and sessions
• Keep the platform functioning smoothly and securely

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

3. Public Content

All content on Osekai — including profiles, medal history, comments, and beatmap suggestions — is public by default and may be visible on the open web (e.g. via search engines). There is no private mode.

We also use localStorage for local preferences (not used for tracking or analytics).

5. Data Storage & Deletion

• Data is stored via Cloudflare
• You can delete comments and submitted content; these are typically removed from storage within 1–4 weeks
• Account deletion is available by request (email us). When deleted, your data and content will be removed, unless retention is legally required

We use limited third-party services to operate Osekai:

• osu! (authentication, source of profile data)
• Cloudflare (delivery, caching, storage)

These services do not receive private data beyond what's needed for authentication.

If you are in the EEA or similar regions, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request corrections or deletion
• Object to or limit processing
• Request data portability
